- Proximity to other mesh nodes (via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Direct)
We do not continuously track your location. Location is only accessed when SOS is triggered or if you opt-in to live tracking.

- Deliver core features like SOS alerts, mesh connectivity, and location pinging
- Notify rescue teams or nearby users in case of emergencies
- Improve app performance, security, and reliability
- Send important updates, bug fixes, or safety notifications

- With your designated emergency contacts (if provided)
- With nearby RescueMesh users during an SOS event
- With ski patrol teams and safety personnel through the Rescue Dashboard
- With law enforcement in life-threatening cases (upon request)

4. Data Security
We use end-to-end encryption and secure local storage to protect your information. Data passed through the mesh network is anonymized and encrypted.
Our servers (if any) are protected with the latest industry-standard security protocols.

- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent to live tracking or emergency features
- File a complaint if you believe your data is being misused
